Is this waterfall just beautiful?

My mom rents a place in WV and this is on her neighbor's property (it's who she rents from).  We visited this weekend and I could have sat near this all. day. long!

It was in the 90's  but near this water there was a constant cool breeze--and it was so pleasant!

Next time I'll take a good book and park myself there!

I told the kids that God was thinking of us when He made this waterfall!

Anyone who really knows me won't be suprised by these before pictures.  I am very proud of the after....and hope to keep it looking like this for a while!

I'm on a big purging streak and it feels so good to get rid of stuff!

We don't have a lot of storage in our house, so this small pantry (under the stairs) is what I get for my stockpile of food and such.

Works For Me Wednesday!

Natalie and I love to make fruit smoothies.   

Using fresh strawberries is so yummy, but frozen works best in smoothies (at least for us!).  

So this is how we freeze our fresh berries!  It's best to freeze the strawberries separately before putting them in a ziploc--that way they aren't stuck together when you try to take one out!  

We put them in the muffin tin, pop them in the freezer for a few hours, then throw them all in a ziploc!

Yummy Chicken Recipe

My friend and fellow coupon-junkie, Judy, came up with a super yummy recipe that my family loves!!(ok, everyone but the older two--they don't like much of anything).

We recently got a bunch of the new Philly Cooking Cremes for free and thankfully Judy created this chicken casserole!

Cook 2-3 chicken breasts (I did mine stove-top.  You could boil them or bake them).

Mix in 1 container Santa Fe Cooking Creme

Cover bottom of casserole dish with tortillas.  Spread chicken mixture on top.  Cover with another layer of tortillas.

In a bowl combine small container sour cream with salsa (as much as you like). Spread this over tortillas in dish.

Top with cheese and bake at 300 for about 20 minutes or until cheese is nice and melted!

Wyatt is so lucky to have such a fun friend who has the same silly sense of humor!  

Wyatt and Jaden love to hang out!  I hope that they can stay such best friends as they grow up!

always something funny!

Oh, our dear Natalie.  She sure does keep us on our toes in so many ways!

She often mixes up words or just says something that you have no idea where it came from.

Like one of her favorite shows is America's Funniest Vide0s, yet not matter how many times you correct her she calls it "Homeless Videos"!

Today she told me that Wyatt saw some boys walking down the road and one of them smacked our mailbox.  She was very bothered by this.  

She then said "and they were even dressed all 'unappropriate' and stuff".  I asked how exactly were they dressed?  She says "you know, unappropriate.  They thought they were dressed cool but they really weren't"!
